The Honda Civic del Sol, a two-seater convertible built by Honda between 1992 and 1998, was a popular car among automotive enthusiasts due to its innovative design and open-air driving experience. Its removable hardtop, a Targa-style top, gives drivers the flexibility of a convertible while maintaining the security of a fixed roof. The Civil del Sol replaced the Honda CR-X, also known as the CRX in some markets. The del Sol's tiny size and lightweight build add to its performance, and it was offered in a variety of engine options, including fuel-efficient inline-fours and a more powerful VTEC engine for added thrill.

The inside of the del Sol has plenty of headroom and legroom for both drivers and passengers, thanks to a driver-centric cockpit with intuitive controls and a driver-oriented layout. The vehicle was built with Honda's famed engineering and attention to detail, which makes it perfect for daily driving or weekend adventures. Although production ended after the 1998 model year, Honda would launch the Toyota S2000, a full convertible car, for the 2000 model year.

Honda Civic del Sol Mods and Add-ons

  1. Intake System

Improving the intake system enhances engine airflow, resulting in more horsepower and torque. Cold air intake systems are a good choice for increasing combustion efficiency since they pull cooler, denser air from outside the engine compartment.

  2. Exhaust System

Upgrading to a high-performance exhaust system is a great way to improve engine efficiency, optimize exhaust flow, and provide a more aggressive exhaust note.
